The Ulteo Documents Synchronizer 1.0 presents a nice auto-synchronization option to all the Windows XP and Vista users, and acts as a backup tool, which is capable of backing up important documents online and retrieving them so that the user may use them under the Ulteo Online Desktop.
This is a pretty useful tool that allows the user to simply dump the data to be synchronized in a local sync directory, and does the rest. As a result, the user can happily access these documents both online as well as offline without actually copy-pasting them, thanks to the Ulteo Online Desktop.
Moreover, the synchronization happens by default at startup and repeats after every half hour or so. The synchronization process is fairly speedy; however the actual speed of synchronization primarily depends upon the speed of the Internet access of the user. It comes with a default capability of synchronizing files as large as 10MB, but just by simply registering online, the user can store a total of 1GB of data online.
As a result, the retrieval and access of these documents is pretty fast, and this application is surely a nice option for all those who need to frequently update the content of the computer’s local disc on to the internet.
